Wolves head into 2017-2018 ranked No. 8

WESSON – The 2016-2017 season proved to be one of the best in program history for Copiah-Lincoln. The Wolves carded impressive scores throughout the season, won three tournaments, and finished in the top three in eight out of 10 tournaments. The remarkable play continued into the post-season as Co-Lin claimed the 2017 NJCAA District D Championship at Grand Bear Golf Course in Saucier, Miss. The District title qualified the Wolves for the NJCAA National Championship at Longbow Golf Course in Messa, Ariz., where Co-Lin finished 11th. The Wolves finished breakout season ranked No. 4 nationally and landed Head Coach Ronny Ross the prestigious Dave Williams National Coach of the Year Award.

Copiah Bank wins 24th annual Wesson Foundation Golf Classic

WESSON – Copiah Bank claimed the corporate championship in Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation’s 24th annual Wesson Foundation Golf Classic held at Wolf Hollow Golf Club. The team of Jeremy Winborn, Stephen Bozeman, Warren Hood, and Grant McDonniel carded an impressive 53.

Ross earns Dave Williams National Coach of the Year Award

ATLANTA, Ga. - The GCAA in conjunction with Golf Pride Grips today announced the six outstanding collegiate golf coaches receiving the Dave Williams National Coach of the Year Award presented by Golf Pride Grips. Golf Pride Grips will present the coaches with their awards during the Hall of Fame Banquet at the GCAA National Convention on December 11.

This years recipients include Copiah-Lincoln's Ronny Ross (NJCAA Division II), Scott Limbaugh, Vanderbilt (Division I), West Florida’s Steve Fell (Division II), David Schreyer of Huntingdon (Division III), Grand View’s Chris Winkel (NAIA), and Rob Murray of Indian Hills (NJCAA Division I). Golf Pride Grips Region and District Coaches of the Year were also named.
