Watson Kennedy to play in MACJC All-Star Game

WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College sophomores Donte Watson and Darius Kennedy will represent the South Division in the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College All-Star Game that will be held on Friday, April 15, at 7 p.m. at East Central Community College in Decatur. Dalton named MACJC All-State

WESSON – Co-Lin freshman point guard Jonathan Dalton has been named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College (MACJC) South Division Second Team All-State. Dalton, a New Orleans native, suffered an injury in the first game of the season resulting in several missed games the first half of the season.

Watson’s 3-pointer lifts Co-Lin over Gulf Coast

PERKISTON – Co-Lin sophomore Donte Watson struggled offensively all night. But when it came down to the end of the game, he made his only basket of the night, a 3-pointer from the right corner with 4.9 seconds left to give the Co-Lin Wolves a 71-69 win over Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs Thursday night. Going into the game, the Bulldogs were tied for second place in the South Division. The loss dropped them to the No. 4 seed in the South Division as they had into next week’s MACJC State Tournament.

Wolves defeat Meridian to get second straight win

MERIDIAN – Clutch free throw shooting and strong defense late in the game powered the Co-Lin Wolves to a 73-69 over the Meridian Eagles. It was the second straight win for the Wolves (6-16, 4-9). Co-Lin travels to Mississippi Gulf Coast for the final regular season game on Thursday, Feb. 18. Wolves fall short in overtime

DECATUR – The Co-Lin Wolves rally came up short as they fell to the East Central Warriors 93-84 in overtime. Donte’ Watson’s buzzer beating 3-pointer tied the game at 72-all and sent the game into overtime. East Central outscored Co-Lin 21-12 in the overtime period to take the win.
